Terms of service
1. General Provisions
This website ("Site") is operated by Tanti Jewellery (Nalan Oğuz and Partners). By using, visiting, or benefiting from the services on this Site, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms of Use in advance. Users are required to act in accordance with applicable laws, public morality, and public order while using the Site.
2. Definitions
Service Provider / Seller: "Tanti Jewellery" User: A "Visitor" accessing the Site, a registered "Member/Subscriber", or a purchasing "Buyer/Customer" Products: Handcrafted silver jewellery offered for sale on the Site, all physical and digital products and content, and all types of services.
3. Intellectual Property & Site Use
All designs, logos, texts, graphics, jewellery forms, and software code on the Site are the exclusive property of Tanti Jewellery. Copying, reproducing, modifying, or using any part of the Site's content for commercial purposes (resale, competitor analysis, etc.) without permission is strictly prohibited.
User Content: While intellectual property rights in any reviews or photographs you submit to the Site remain with you, Tanti Jewellery reserves the right to use such content in its promotional and marketing channels.
4. Membership, Account & Security
You may register as a member; accurate and up-to-date information must be provided during registration. The accuracy of information provided at the time of registration is the User's responsibility. The User is solely responsible for the security of their account credentials and password, and for all actions taken through their account. In the event of suspected unauthorised use, the Service Provider/Seller must be notified immediately.
5. Orders, Sales Conditions, Product Specifications & Payment
Orders: Orders are subject to the Preliminary Information Form, Distance Sales Agreement, and Subscription (Membership) Agreement on the Site.
Handmade Product Declaration: Products are as depicted in the images and described in the product listings in terms of dimensions and specifications. However, due to the handcrafted nature of the products, minimal differences in texture, form, and colour may occur compared to images. This is not a defect but a result of the product's unique character.
Payment: Transactions are processed through secure international payment infrastructure.
Customs & Taxes:
- Shipments within Turkey: All taxes are included in the price.
- Shipments outside Turkey: Applicable taxes for certain countries are added to the cart total at checkout. However, in rare cases, additional customs clearance or storage fees may be imposed by local customs authorities beyond the amounts collected at the time of payment; Tanti Jewellery cannot be held responsible for such charges.
Promotions: If a special campaign covering customs costs is active, this will be clearly indicated on the checkout page.
Returns Due to Customs: For orders returned to Turkey because customs duties were not paid by the recipient, any resulting shipping costs, customs clearance fees, and taxes will be deducted from the refund amount.
Shipping Fee: Subject to the terms set out in Delivery & Shipping Information. Any exceptions are noted in the relevant Product Descriptions.
6. Delivery, Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Delivery Conditions: Set out in the Delivery & Shipping Information, Preliminary Information Form, Distance Sales Agreement, and Subscription (Membership) Agreement.
Returns & Exchanges: Subject to the conditions set out in our Return & Exchange Policy, as referenced in the Preliminary Information Form, Distance Sales Agreement, and Subscription Agreement.
Subject to exceptions, the right of withdrawal may be exercised within 14 days of delivery. Exceptions and cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply are set out in the Preliminary Information Form and Return & Exchange Policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
Tanti Jewellery cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Site or technical failures. Temporary unavailability of the Site due to technical reasons is considered outside the scope of the Seller's liability. Users are responsible for ensuring virus protection and software security on their own devices.
8. Privacy & Personal Data
Users' personal data is processed and protected in accordance with our Privacy & Personal Data Protection Policy and Cookie Policy. See also: Your Privacy Preferences.
9. Validity & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use take effect upon accessing the Site. The Service Provider/Seller reserves the right to unilaterally amend or update the Terms of Use; changes take effect upon publication on the Site.
For disputes arising from these Terms of Use, the User/Buyer/Customer agrees to submit complaints and objections to the District/Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committees at the location of the Service Provider/Seller's registered address, and where these are exceeded in value, to the Consumer Courts at the same location.
