Return & Exchange Policy

At Tanti Jewellery, we aim to offer you a unique experience through our handcrafted designs. The following outlines our return and exchange procedures in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

1. Right of Withdrawal & Return Process

Timeframe: In accordance with our Distance Sales Agreement, you have the right to return your order within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving it, without stating any reason, subject to the exceptions listed below. Once notice is given within 14 days, the item must be shipped back within 10 (ten) days; otherwise the right of withdrawal is considered unused.

Damaged Shipments: Upon delivery, please inspect the item for damage or missing parts. If the item arrives damaged, you are legally required to have the courier document this with an official report.

Conditions: Items must be returned unopened, unused, undamaged, and in resalable condition.

Documentation: Items must be returned with their invoice, original packaging, any certificate of authenticity, and all accessories.

Exceptions — Cases Where the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply:

  1. Personalised items: Items made to the buyer's specifications (e.g. rings resized to a custom measurement, items engraved with a name or date, or fully bespoke designs) are not eligible for return.
  2. Hygiene-sensitive items: Earrings and similar items whose packaging has been opened after delivery cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons.
  3. Opened packaging: Items with opened packaging are only accepted for return if they are defective; non-defective items with opened packaging cannot be returned.
  4. Used items: No returns are accepted for used items.
  5. Damaged items: No returns are accepted for damaged items.

Process: Under the conditions and timeframes above, the customer may exercise their right of withdrawal by sending the item to our address (Tanti Jewellery Workshop) listed below. The process begins upon written notification by email. Defective items may be returned using the courier specified by us, with shipping costs covered by the seller. For discretionary returns, shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Once the item is received and inspected, the customer will be notified by email and a refund will be issued within the legally required timeframe.

2. Exchange Conditions

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, each piece is unique and may contain minimal textural variations.

In accordance with our Distance Sales Agreement, exchange requests may be made within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the item, provided the item is unused and undamaged, and subject to the exceptions below. Personalised items are not eligible for exchange except in cases of manufacturing defect. Once notice is given within 14 days, the item must be shipped back within 10 (ten) days; otherwise the right of exchange is considered unused.

Defective items may be sent using the courier specified by us, with shipping covered by the seller — in such cases, an identical replacement will be provided. For discretionary exchange requests, shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Once received and inspected, the customer will be notified by email and the exchange will be made with an equivalent item.


3. Shipping & Refunds

Shipping costs: For returns or withdrawals involving defective items, the courier specified by the seller must be used and shipping is covered by the seller. In all other cases, shipping costs are borne by the buyer.

Refunds: Once the returned item is received and inspected, the order amount will be refunded to your original payment method (credit card or bank transfer) in accordance with bank procedures.
