Moon Ring

The Moon Ring belongs to the Sola Series. It is inspired by the cratered texture of the Moon. The blue zircon stone references the "Blue Moon" — the rare occurrence of two full moons within a single month. Certain events, such as volcanic eruptions, can cause the Moon to genuinely appear blue. In English, the image of the "Blue Moon" is used in the idiom "once in a blue moon" to describe events that are nearly impossible to occur. In pagan belief it is considered a gift of nature. For Native Americans, the moment a "Blue Moon" is sighted is a sacred one. Across every era and culture, the Moon has been the first step in humanity's desire to understand the universe.

Size: The circular moon is approximately 3,5 cm in diameter. The ring is designed to fit different finger sizes.
